Carrot, Ginger and Pineapple
- 1 large ripe banana, previously peeled, sliced and frozen (more for a sweeter smoothie)
- 1 cup frozen or fresh pineapple
- ¼ tsp TurmeriX®
- ½ tbsp fresh ginger (small knob, peeled)
- ½ cup carrot juice
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- ½ juice small lemon
- Add all the ingredients into the blender, blend on high until smooth and creamy. Add more carrot juice or almond milk if too thick. You can adjust the sweetness by adding more pineapple or banana. Lemon adds acidity, ginger gives more bite and TurmeriX® more warmth.
- Milk, frozen banana, 1 or 2 pitted dates, TurmeriX®..........Yummm.
- Coconut milk, banana, honey or dates, TurmeriX®.
- Pineapple juice plus a dash of freshly squeezed lemon juice, TurmeriX®.
- Mango, pineapple, almond milk, TurmeriX®.
- Apple, carrot, ginger, TurmeriX®.
