I was concerned about mental decline. I am in my 60s and I am a an intense preacher (do a couple of 45-60 minute sermons every week with hours of study to prepare them). But it seemed clear that I was starting to lose it. A close friend noticed this and encouraged me to take Turmeric powder from Bulk Barn. It helped. I tried a concentrated form, but it gave me wierd issues (extreme thrist). Then, at a farmer's market, I saw a Turmerix display booth and spoke to the agent about it and purchased a bottle of the powder. It is one of the best things I ever did. I have been taking it for two years and my mental clarity seems like it is better than it has been in 20 years!
There is also another benefit that I was not looking for. To stay in shape, I run on a wilderness trail that is full of rocks and roots. It is rugged enough that it is impossible for a trail bike to go on it. It is not infrequent that I will twist an ankle. Before taking Turmerix, my injured ankle would swell up and I would be unable to run for two to four weeks. Part of this is due to my ankles getting conditioned, but I immediately noticed that when I had bad twists, my ankles did not swell. They healed within a day or two. This has been the the normal pattern now for two years.
But then, one day I slipped and fell forward. This happens from time to time, but this time I crashed on a rock and drove a tooth up into my gum. I was several kms out on the trail, but after the bleeding stopped, I had almost no pain. I actually ran on home. I took no pain killer and slept well that night. The next day, I went to the dentist and he pulled the tooth down and pulled the the one beside it forward. He told to take Ibuprofen for a full week lest the pain catch up to me. I took a dose as directed before the numbing for the procedure wore off, but had zero pain. I decided to try not taking another dose. I had no pain. I checked AI with the question, "Can Turmeric have the same result as Ibuprofen?" To my surprise, the answer was "yes." That seems to be the explanation. I have found that even when I have been sick, I get a fever, but do not get body aches. It is like I am taking Ibuprofin all the time without all the negative side effects.
And one other little unexpected improvement is that cuts and scrapes heal faster. With thanks to my Father in heaven, I think I have found a supplement that is perfect for my body. There have been no negative side effects at all. Overall, I may have even have some improvement with my immunity-- but that is inconclusive. It was already pretty good. I take a heaping teaspoon per day.
My wife has not had much noticable benefit, but my daughter is trying it for IBS which has been a major issue for her along with monthly cramping. It has only been about five weeks, but she has had significant improvement and is starting to try expanding what had been an extremely restrictive diet. She used the recommended gradual approach as far as the amount she takes and is up to half a teaspoon now. She is doing so well that she may stick with that for a while. But I would say it is too soon to say for sure about her. In any case, she has struggled with these issues for years and if she has lasting improvement it will be cause for more thanksgiving to the Lord.

Didn’t trust it, bought at a show, gave try. Was ok. Sat on a shelf for a long while, months, years. Then aging happened, knee osteoarthritis, cracked meniscus. Shooting pain. I found the jar and started to take daily. After a week I was a happy person. The actual problem did not go away, but the pain dropped so much that I could have a decent life, knee was less of a concern. Then I stopped taking it, forgot about it. After 6 months or more I was in bad pain again for months and found the jar again, took max amount and again, one week and I was a different person.
My recommendation is give it a try for a week, test how you tolerate it, like 1-2 pills a day with food and go from there, it might change your life perspective.
